Join the Jackson County Historical Society as it conducts a special tour for the Halloween season! This Friday night guided ghost tour takes you to the spookiest and most fascinating places in Kansas.

Visitors will tour the 1859 Jail and Marshal’s Home, and learn the incredible story of this historical building, from its Civil War beginnings to its famous inmates like the older brother of Jesse James, Frank James. See all the spooky nooks and crannies of this landmark and take a covered wagon ride around the Independence Square on this exciting excursion. It’s a great way to spend a Friday October night!
